Hello fellow Hartmann fans. Lets review the facts.
John Scott asks several questions on his latest 960 blog, but fails to reply when we attempt to answer them!!?? Why? I doubt he's even bothered to read our answers because, clearly, he isn't interested in them. If he really paid attention to what we wanted, Tom Hartmann would be on the radio for 3 hours in the morning.
Despite hundreds of objections, it's clear that Scott is going to keep Shultz in the 9-12 morning slot, occupied by Thom Hartmann for years.
John Scott has completely ignored the approximately 40 pages, on three separate blogs--created by Scott himself on the Green 960 web site--requesting that Thom Hartmann be kept on the radio, preferably live, but at least for the full 3 hours. In all those 40 pages I have not seen even one post that approved of Scott taking Thom Hartmann off the radio in the morning, in favor of Ed Schultz. There must a reason for the lack of enthusiasm, for the absence of posts in favor Shultz over Hartmann: How popular is Shultz in the SF Bay Area, compared to Thom Hartmann? You decide.
John Scott asks on his latest blog if 960 listeners want Thom Hartmann on the future online station, 960-2. But Scott has not replied to even one of the myriad posts that insist: No, we do not want Thom online, we want him live on the radio. In light of the fact that John Scott is well aware that Thom Hartmann wants to be on the radio and has no interest in being on 960-2, Scott's silence is not astonishing.
John Scott does not listen to us. Did he ask if we wanted Shultz in place of Thom? He only asked us after the fact and then blew us off. So Scott's blogs are useful only for those of us who want to vent, and Hartmann fans who want to hook up with each other.
To any Thom Hartmann fans out there, who may be reading this, please join up with other Hartmann fans by communicating with us via this blog.
Forget John Scott. He cannot be trusted. I don't have any idea why, exactly, he keeps writing blogs on 960 asking for our comments, and then proceeds to utterly ignore them. I'm sure he has a reason, but it eludes me. Well forget John Scott, one way or another, we'll get Thom back on the radio in our beloved, Liberal city.
